Facebook - Edit Your ‘Look Back’ Video Soon

Facebook-Promoted-Posts

If you’re a Facebook user, you’ve probably seen its “Look Back” feature, which was launched for the social network’s tenth anniversary.

Look Back is essentially a customized video for each user that shows his or her most important Facebook moments. The video proved to be quite popular with Facebook users, and it seems like everyone is sharing it. However, it lacks one important feature: editing.

Oddly enough, the help page for Look Back does mention an edit function. “Click Edit Your Movie below the video player. Use the checkmarks on your photos and other stories to adjust whether they appear in your movie,” it says. The only problem: There is no “Edit Your Movie” button yet.

According to TechCrunch, however, the button is coming ”soon.”

“We will be launching an Edit feature soon that will allow people to change moments in their movies or update the ones they shared. I don’t have exact timing at the moment, but this will enable people to remove a post from the movie that was pre-selected and change it to a different one,” a Facebook representative told TechCrunch.

So if you’re aching to create your own Look Back video, you won’t have to wait much longer. It’ll be interesting to see where Facebook takes Look Back from here; judging from the company’s level of commitment to the seemingly one-off feature, it might turn into a fully fledged new service.
